Driving Assessments
Driving assessments must be completed by a Driver Trained Occupational Therapist who will evaluate the capacity of the person a person with physical, behavioural, or cognitive impairments to drive safely and independently. The assessment can make recommendations based on the following:

driver rehabilitation,

vehicle modifications,

vehicle purchase and
-
licencing conditions.
Our driving assessments consist of:

Initial Interview – Obtaining information about a person’s medical and driving history, including any medications they are taking

Physical Screen – Assessing range of movement, strength, tone, sensation, and coordination

Vision Screen – Assessing visual acuity, peripheral vision and eye movements

Cognitive Screen – Assessing concentration, attention, memory, problem solving, planning skills and level of insight

Functional And Activities Of Daily Living (ADL) Assessments
We support our clients to identify and achieve their individual goals. This assessment is performed in a client's home environment – reviewing self-care tasks such as showering, dressing, toileting and important activities such as cleaning and finance management. Our comprehensive assessment provides advice and recommendations for equipment prescription, home modifications and support services that would be beneficial.
